Children have the opportunity to take exams in Ballet, Character, Tap and Modern/Jazz at various intervals throughout the year. The exams are not in any way compulsory but most children like to have a goal to work towards. The exams can be very rewarding and the children get a real sense of achievement when receiving their report and certificates. The school has an excellent exam record and marks of Distinction (at least 75% in Ballet and at least 80% in Tap and Modern/Jazz ) are regularly achieved.


The children also have regular opportunities to perform to the public at local school fetes, demonstrations and local pantomimes. There is also the opportunity to perform with the Duchy Ballet at The Hall for Cornwall each year. In 2011 the school is celebrating its 25th Anniversary by putting on a performance at The Epworth Hall in Helston in July showcasing work taught at the school.
